When made right you can except a rich dark earthy taste with something chocolate like about it. Use Aeropress to unleash the full flavor. Add to it the fact that it is organic, fair traded and supporting good causes. definitely the right way to start the morning.
Pura Vida is OK, but not nearly as good as I had hoped it would be. I have not had much luck with coffees I have ordered on line. I live in the Seattle area and there is just too much really good locally roasted cofee available here. It is drinkable and a lot better than supermarket brands. It just can't compare to our local varieties.
Pura Vida French Roast coffee is strong, delicious, and not at all bitter. Not only is it a first-rate product, but purchase of it benefits needy children. As a true coffee lover, I highly recommend it.
Not even close. We ordered the Pura Vida French Roast on the recommendation of other buyers here at Amazon, thinking we could perhaps avoid the slight inconvenience of having to run to the nearest Starbucks shop to pick up coffee every couple of weeks. People have different tastes, I guess, and in this case my wife and I were disappointed. Too bad for us, but some people evidently like it. But we prefer the taste of the Starbucks by a rather wide margin. Pura Vida does not have the deep, full bodied smoothness of Sbucks whole bean French Roast. When it comes to coffee (as with pizza). you simply must consult your own palate.
I have never bought whole bean coffee or fair trade, organic coffee before so my limited experience may not be worth much. I love the coffee and it tastes great. The price is doable for my budget. I will be purchasing again.
